Confidence is built through repeated success

If you want to get better at doing something, not only do you actually need to do it, but you need to repeat it till you’re sure you can do it very well and do it on command.

To get confident in your ability to do something you need to practise.

People who are at the top of their game, and are excellent at what they do, got to that point because they practised. They committed hours, days, weeks, months, even years to doing that thing that they’re best at.

So, whether it’s photography, graphic design, social media, film, writing or something else, commit to doing it and repeating it till you’re confident that you can handle it well.

It’s a simple principle, but once you get it your life, career and self-image will thank you for it.
